Workshop 1:      “How to Grow Fruit in Small Spaces”
Home owners with little experience will learn how easy and fun it is to grow fruit agriculture (table grapes, wine grapes, apples, peaches, plums, berries, etc..) at your home.  You’ll discover you can grow fruit in even the smallest nook or cranny on your property and how rewarding a feeling it is to harvest your ever-increasing fruit bounty each and every year.  
Workshop 2:       “The Role of a Pergola and an Arbor in an Outdoor Living Space” 
The most telling feature of a pergola is its size and function whereas  an arbor is distinct because of its placement, purpose, and size. D. Emerson Quigley will share a complete set of considerations when planning to add one of these elements to a home landscape. 
Workshop 3:     “Winter Fruit Pruning Workshop”
In this 20 minute pruning workshop KSV, owner and horticulturist, D. Emerson Quigley will introduce attendees to the fundamentals of pruning fruit trees and grape vines including when to prune, tips on how to prune to get the best harvest, and the basic tools you’ll need. 
Workshop 4:    “Incorporating Artificial Turf into a Beautiful Outdoor Living Space”
Artificial turf has evolved and improved in form (look) and function (# of applications) since it was introduced more than 50 years ago. The “no maintenance” aspect of this landscaped product in addition to its many functions offers the home owner all kinds of ways to enhance their home’s outdoor living environment. Attendees will learn about how other home owners throughout New England have incorporated artificial turf into their outdoor landscape. 
Workshop 5:   “How to deal with pests and disease in a backyard vineyard and orchard”
